More Specific Points About CS
- Understand your code and know what each line is for
- Explain what you want to do and your process
- Make websites and meet new people
- Consider club activities and involvements—they will be highly encouraged
- Go to career fairs
- Look through GitHub to see what other people have made
- Talk to others about projects
Overall Reflection
- There are a lot of things to consider as I go into the future. I asked Edwin for recommendations to strengthen my CS knowledge, and his suggestions were:
- Join clubs at Del Norte or gain leadership in the ones I’m already part of
- Reach out to UCSD students and CyberSecurity or Computer Science-related clubs to learn from them as well
